Calista - Quiet and Loving
Calista and her many friends at Grateful Paw Cat Shelter need people willing to tidy up the shelter for them. A clean shelter is important as it aids in keeping the cats happy and healthy, encourages potential adopters to spend time with our cats and provides the environment for our cats to show themselves off. If you are physically fit enough to sweep a floor, empty a litter pan, do laundry, prepare a tray of cat food and the like, this behind-the-scenes volunteer position is for you. Unlike most positions, you will be able to be with the cats when there are no visitors...just you and the cats. And they will love you for all you do for them.

Help provide a safe, clean home for our cats.

Our caretaker crew cleans the shelter and feeds the cats. It's a great way to spend time with our furry friends while providing an essential service to them. The cleanliness of the shelter helps maintain the health of our cats plus makes our shelter an inviting place for potential adopters (we pride ourselves on being clean and tidy). It really does encourage people to adopt from us and that translates into forever homes for our beloved cats and kittens.

Morning and evening hours available.

Please note, we clean and feed twice a day, every day, including holidays.
