Photography volunteers are needed to capture all ceremonies and aspects of event in digital and film formats.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Photograph daily events, walkers, volunteers, crewmembers, teams and ceremonies, which capture the essences of the event.
- Refer to the Photo Plan to determine the required photos needed of participants, vendors and sponsors.
- Provide upload of digital photographs to Director of Communications.
- Use common sense to provide a safe and fun experience for participants.
- Wear a smile, thank participants and have fun while volunteering!
Event Dates:
Walk MS: MO & IL locations, Spring and Fall 2015
Challenge Walk MS: St. Louis, MO - May 29-May 31, 2015
Bike MS: Express Scripts Gateway Getaway Ride: Godfrey, IL - Sept. 12-13, 2015

Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and nationwide network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Seeking volunteers to the MS cause is the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers four key fund-raising activities:
- Bike MS
- Walk MS
The Society also engages volunteers to help influence lawmakers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people living with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as:
- Marketing/Communications
- Public relations
- Corporate and donor development
- Medical, legal, administrative.
