Description
We are looking for a Service Unit Manager who will guide and support a team of volunteers to deliver a quality Girl Scout experience for girls in Woodinville. This position would be a great resume builder for someone who is interest in non-profit work or management.
Service Unit Managers are appointed for one year, and the busiest months are August, September, May and June. There are 3 monthly meetings (1-2 hours each) from Sept-May that the Service Unit Manager must attend. The first 2 are facilitated by the Service Unit Manager and occur the first and second Thursday of each month at 7:00pm. The 3rd is held the last Wednesday or Friday of the month and is a chance for all Service Unit Managers in the region to keep up to date on what is going on in Girl Scouting and network. The Service Unit Manager also works with, and is supported by, a Girl Scout staff person.

- * Must be over 25 and undergo an application process including a criminal background check * Must become a registered member of GSUSA ($12 annual fee, assistance may be available) * Must attend Girl Scout training, including Service Unit Manager workshop provided in August (exact date tbd) * Prior Girl Scout experience is not required, but may be helpful
