The Patriot Freedom Festival is May 27-28, 2017 at the historic Dayton VA Medical Center Campus. The festival provides the community with a way to honor our military and memorialize those who have sacrificed for our freedom.
We need Logistics volunteers to help with setting up our event, cleaning up the grounds, support the needs of the re-enactors and entertainers and take-down after the event. Time spent will consist of hours the day before the event, as well as the Saturday and Sunday of the event and take-down time after the event close. A minimum four-hour shift is required, but more is encouraged. Set-up/take-down consists of moving chairs, tables, setting up canopies, policing the area, (picking up trash), setting up and taking down signs, etc.

We honor the accomplishments of veterans while preserving a priceless piece of national and local history--the Soldiers Home located at the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. We invite you to take your place in history by helping us make this venture a success.
The scope of our activities include historic preservation projects, events, tours, and our annual festival, "Patriot Freedom Festival."
