The Climb To Conquer Cancer is a non-competitive event sponsored by the Great West Division of the American Cancer Society. Key Committee Chair positions are still needed for the following areas:

Team Development - recruit & manage the various teams

Logistics - recruits a subcommittee to assist in the planning and coordination of all logistics for the event

Publicity - responsible for the various media & publicity aspects of the event

Sponsorship - with the staff partner & event chair, identify, solicit & track event sponsors

THE CLIMB TO CONQUER CANCER EVENT WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY MAY 29TH FROM 5-9 PM. COMMITTEE CHAIRS ARE REQUESTED TO ATTEND BI-WEEKLY COMMITTEE MEETINGS AS WELL AS SOME TIME OUTSIDE MEETINGS TO WORK ON THE EVENT DETAILS.

• An interest in helping with the fight against cancer, flexibiity, positive attitude and willingness to work with committees is essential. Specific Committee Chair experience & skill sets are: Team Development - sales or recruitment experience helpful, supportive/accessible/motivator/passionate Logistics - project or event management experience helpful, organized/detailed/communicator/connected Publicity -media or marketing experience helpful, compelling/passionate/creative/responsible Sponsorship - business or organizational leadership experience helpful, persistent/passionate/motivator
