Looking for volunteers to help us publicize our upcoming 4th Annual Aneurysm and AVM Awareness Walk.

We have a good list of online event calendars, magazines, radios, newspapers we would like you to help us contact and then forward information to. We are also always looking to add to the list of places to contact.

We will provide all the event information, information on our foundation, and any other information required.

Some specific tasks we would like to get help with:

• Post walk event information to various online event calendars and other event listings.
• Contacting (or researching online) to identify what is required to request donations of ad space or public service announcements from various magazines, radio stations, newspapers.
• Following up to submit ad donation requests to various magazines, radio stations, and newspapers.
• Researching additional places to publicize the event.
• Tracking responses to requests and deadlines to submit ad information.

This is a "virtual position" that can be done from home. However, we would prefer someone local or who is familiar with the SF Bay Area and California.

• Generally looking for someone who is organized, internet savvy, articulate, and is comfortable reaching out via email as well as via telephone. Specific desirable skills: * articulate with good communication skills * comfortable with the internet, email, and on the telephone * organized with strong self-initiative in following up on tasks and deadlines
