Description
The Boise River is a treasure we all take for granted. We love it, but it has a litter problem.
Throughout the year our trash accumulates along the banks and in the channel of the Boise River as we recreate, ultimately harming the environment and the enjoyment of this precious community resource.
This event is our opportunity to give back to the River that has given so much to us. Volunteers, students, and concerned citizens are invited to join together in a community effort to clean up the Boise River! Your help will not only provide a safe and clean Boise River for our community to use, but it will also raise awareness of our local litter problems and work to make it better in the future. So, please join us to pick up our garbage and give the old river a little sprucing up. Bags for trash and recyclables will be provided.
