!!!Foster Homes Are Urgently Needed!!! When you foster a NorSled dog you are saving the life of that dog or another dog that we would otherwise not be able to rescue. NorSled is experiencing a huge influx of dogs because of the economy, people losing their homes or having to move to places that won't allow pets. NorSled is trying to keep up to save these poor dogs from the kill shelters but we are running out of options. Our current foster homes are full and the boarding kennel we use is overloaded. We have simply run out of space when there are more dogs needing saving. Your help is desperately needed! NorSled provides all medical needs, a foster home kit with food, bowls, leashes, toys, bedding and a crate for crate training. You provide a loving home environment until an adoptive home is found. Our Rescue and Foster Home Coordinators will work closely with you to make sure everything is going well and to let you know of potential homes. You can be involved in the adoption process as little or as much as you like. You have the option of choosing the home that is most suitable for your foster and his or her needs if you'd like or let the adoption coordinator do this for you.
