Adults 55 and better Habijax (Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville) needs your super handymen skills to frame, roof, install vinyl siding, paint, landscape or cleanup on the home construction site. Work is done on Tuesdays through Saturdays. Feel free to come for all or part of the day.
Habijax's mission is to eliminate sub-standard and poverty housing conditions in Duval County. Habijax helps families in need build affordable houses, which they buy at cost with real mortgages. Their house payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is then used to build more homes.
