Groundwork Somerville seeks an energetic and creative sort to help us out in the office.
We need help in the following areas:
- Filing and general admin;
- Program"how-to" kit design and creation;
- General office maintenance;
- Cleaning the office!

GWS builds sustainable communities by helping Somerville realize the potential of its dense urban landscape and strong social networks. We mobilizes residents, businesses, congregations, and nonprofits to improve their immediate environment.
Description
Groundwork Somerville has four primary programs:
1) Schoolyard Gardens: in-school, after-school and summer programming in learning gardens throughout the city of Somerville.
2) Garden Youth Crew: Middle school internship program focused on creating products from ingredients at our schoolyard gardens.
3) Green Team: High school employment program
4) Community Corridor Planning: in collaboration with the Somerville Community Corporation, Somerville Community Health Agenda and the Somerville Transportation Equity Partnership the CCP works to empower residents to create a vision for land-uses along the future Green Line extension corridors.
