Description

MIFA began in Memphis in 1968 following the sanitation workers' strike and the death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Religious and lay leaders founded the organization as a means for all people to put their faith into action. Since its founding, MIFA has offered a hand up to hundreds of thousands of Mid-Southerners in need. This flexible local organization offers a variety of services to nurture our community.
