Are you looking to make a difference? We provide a center for positive change and are always looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, energetic, qualified and committed volunteers. We are looking for volunteers who can make a regular, weekly commitment as well as those who are looking for occasional or episodic opportunities.
At Mariposa, we use volunteers in the many ways, including:
- Supporting the reception desk
- Helping in the front office
- Assisting with childcare
- Providing IT technical support and training
- General maintenance
- Fundraising and event planning
- Community outreach and marketing
- Website assistance

Mariposa Women and Family Center provides mental health and recovery counseling, life skills education and supportive services to women and families.
Description
Mariposa Women and Family Center was founded in 1977 and offers six programs for Orange County residents. They include Women's Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment; Women's Homeless Treatment;CalWORKS Behavioral Health; Occupational Therapy - Life Skills for Independence and the Family Counseling Program. The Family Program includes individual, couple and family counseling, parenting classes, anger management, sexual abuse and domestic violence therapy groups and bereavement support.
