Homefront Hugs USA needs Americans of all ages- children through adults of all abilities and disabilites ,walks of life and families ....individuals, social clubs, schools,universities,places of worship,and businesses-to join us in any of the following areas from your home at your convenience.

SO MANY WAYS TO HELP :

• We have a serious need for volunteers of all ages and walks of life to adopt a deployed hero needing support and hugs! You can do this from the comfort of your homes, schools, places of worship or business . Email Adoptions@HomefrontHugs.org. Help prevent PTSD, depression and isolation ESPECIALLY with suicide rates elevated even more now to 24+ heroes lost per day .

• Sending cards,calendars, clothes ,snacks, banners,scarves,lap blankets , decorated pillowcases and slippers in care packages to our wounded and sick heroes through Operation Healing Angel. Consider even adopting a VA hospital to help for 6-12 months as a group or individual . You do what you can do and keep us updated even if you are just sending cards monthly .

• Adopting a deployed hero or a military family manning the homefront- You can do this individually or as a group through Homefront Hero Hugs and it just means one carepackage a month and emails in between .

• Prepare lunchboxes and backpacks for disaster relief for children and families for the hurricane season from June through November through Homefront Hurricane Lunchbox Hugs.

• Help us raise funds for our monthly care packages which cost 15.90 to ship . We have 100-125 per month to ship. Donations are gratefully accepted especially a monthly pledge which you can do on our website under "NEVER FORGET."

• Help us on Twitter, Instagram,Reddit and Facebook sharing resources for our military community,veterans in pain, troops deployed ... by retweeting and sharing our daily posts @HomefrontHugs using your own words to make it more powerful when you can. You can also share our ideas and missions in your community and help us reach more volunteers through schools, businesses, places of worship . You choose and keep us updated .

• Searching for a talented IT group or business willing to help develop an APP pro bono to help us sign up troops and vets in need faster as well as volunteers. We have been searching or over 5 years !

• Help is needed to tweak our website as we have no staff to do this and rely on volunteers . It is built from the heart but we would love to look a bit neater and more user friendly.

• Begin a New Homefront Kids or Teen Club in your community or at your school...we'll guide you through it and share some hugs locally with your local heroes...or begin a Homefront Hugs club at your university!

• Please consider making a monthly monetary gift to help missions continue which automatically designates you as an official Homefront Hugs Member .
