The National Day of Service honors the ideals and values of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. Our nation sets aside Dr. King's birthday (January 19 th) to honor his memory through direct community service. Honor Dr. King's memory by becoming a mentor through Infinite Family! With little more than your own computer, a webcam and one half hour a week, you can be on your way to being a positive light in the life of a South African child.

• Mentors must be at least 21 years of age and approved through an application process. In order to support video chat capabilities, mentors must have a high-speed internet connection and a webcam. Mentors will undergo a short online training program aimed at helping them understand the culture, the technology and the children. Following the training, mentors will be ready to chat with their Net Buddies.
