CPAs are needed to work one-on-one with artists and nonprofit arts organizations. They typically need help set up bookkeeping systems in QuickBooks and with taxes, budgeting and other financial matters.
The commitment to joining our volunteer referral program is simply to accept cases (at your convenience) on a volunteer basis. Generally, volunteers take one assignement per year. Most assignments take less than ten hours spread over serval weeks.
Volunteers often tell us how much they enjoy their contct with our clients; their passion is refreshing.

The mission of the St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts is to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the greater metropolitan area by providing low-income artists and emerging arts organizations with free legal assistance and access to educational programs.
