Imagine joining another person on a journey during a special and unique time in their life, and comforting them when they most need physical, emotional, and spiritual support. Our faith based Hospice was founded in early 1980's and is the oldest hospice in the Greater St. Louis Area. Mercy Hospice provides services in 13 Missouri counties, so wherever you live, you will find ways to serve your local community.

Mercy Hospice Volunteers are matched with opportunities to serve according to their schedules, interests, skills, comfort levels and geographic areas. Volunteers are needed to provides support to our patients and their families. Some of our Volunteer Opportunities include but are not limited to:

As a Mercy Hospice volunteer, you will receive comprehensive training to help you feel more confident when supporting our patients, families and Hospice staff. You will become an important part of our team. Volunteers like you are vital to our Mission of meeting and exceeding the expectations of people in our community.
