Provide help with homework and tutoring for members, ages 6-18 years old in the Learning Center and provide an enjoyable learning experience for youth. Training Provided: All volunteers will receive Volunteer Orientation prior to working in the Clubs and ongoing training and guidance as necessary.

All volunteers are required to attend the BGCMD Overview Session which includes an interview. Upon completing the session, potential candidates are then invited to attend our extensive training. The training is a 2.5 hour class on the culture, history, programming and program implementation of the Boys & Girls Club. Any volunteer 15 - 18 yrs of age would be required to sign up as a member also. The minimum age for volunteering is 15.
