The Holiday Project is sponsoring visits by volunteers to residents of local hospitals, nursing homes, shelters, and long term care facilities throughout the DC metropolitan area on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. These visits bring the spirit of a holiday to people who otherwise would not have a celebration. Please go to the website for upcoming visits at www.holidayproject.org, click on the "Visit List" tab on the left, and view the dates we have for the yearly visits. If you are interested in attending any of these visits, simply contact the team leader! Also, we need Team Leaders!

The Holiday Project is now do-it-yourself. We encourage people to organize visits to people in nursing homes, hospitals and other residential institutions in local areas throughout the United States. Our goal is to make visits to people in institutions an integral part of America’s Holiday Experience.
