"Girls In Care" need your help!

Organization |
Description
Volunteers are needed to help Girl Scout staff with the Girls In Care program. The wonderful girls in this program are ages 6-10, and are either in foster care or have a mother who is incarcerated. They have group meetings in the Parkland/Spanaway area. Volunteers are needed to drive girls to meetings and help staff with activities and meals. There are 2 meetings each month, every other week, that occur on weekdays in the late afternoon or evening. The volunteer commitment will be about 3 hours for each of the 2 monthly meetings.
This is a wonderful opportunity to give to your community and provide these girls with the support they need to succeed in school and life. Please email me with any specific questions about the program or volunteer role.
