The member will develop, implement and manage the YMCA Volunteer Program. The member will process each volunteer that seeks to provide his or her time and services to the YMCA, work with YMCA staff to develop volunteer position descriptions, assist in training volunteers and evaluate the volunteer program. The member will develop volunteer materials, assist with volunteer recruitment, increase volunteer retention and be responsible for the maintenance of all volunteer files. The member will also assist in coordinating special events, seminars and open recruitment fairs and will evaluate the use of volunteers at the YMCA through volunteer and department surveys.
