The Club for Boys has the following volunteer positions available in various areas throughout the Club.
Fine Art Instructor: Instruct members in a fine art such as watercolor painting, charcoal drawing, etc. Year-round.
Reading Tutor, Math Tutor, Homework Tutor: Mentor and tutor members who need help with homework. Year-round.
Library/Special Activity Assistant: Assist or lead special activities in the library such as chess. Year-round.
Individual Game Instructor and/or Small Group Games Instructor: Work with individuals or groups playing games and/or leading tournaments. Year-round.
Music Instructor: Teach boys how to read music and play guitar, piano or other instruments. Year-round.
Small Group Coordinator (Tween Room): Work with individuals or groups (ages 10 & 11) playing games and/or leading tournaments. Year-round.
Mentor: Work with a member one-on-one at the Club to provide a positive influence and serve as a role model. Year-round.

Description
Through programming, the Club's staff aims to promote decency and prevent delinquency, especially with boys from disadvantaged circumstances, and to assist boys in realizing their full potential as productive, responsible citizens.
The Club has developed a range of activities specifically for boys that encompass age appropriate educational curriculum, recreation, and fulfillment of personal needs. This programming builds on what is known about how boys learn and grow and addresses the distinctive development styles and energy levels of boys. Programs at the Club include homework help, tutoring, counseling and individual services, healthy meals and snacks, arts and crafts, social recreation, computer use, woodworking, physical education and fitness activities, sports leagues, trips and outings, citizenship and leadership awareness, campouts and fishing trips, and career and education guidance.
