We want to bring to our members the opportunity to meet once a week and have fun. This year we were able to meet almost every Monday enjoyed playing bingo, memory games, bowling, made some crafts, some learned how to crochet, other how to knit, also made some paper crafts. We were able to visit the Boston Flower show in March with the collaboration of some volunteers who paid and some helped with transportation.

Currently we are in need of craft materials, yarn, crochet and knit needles, fabric, etc. Coffee and snack supplies. Transportation to our meeting and back home is one of our biggest issues; some people can participate because they don’t have transportation.

If anyone knows how and where to apply for a grant, we will appreciate it, money is tight and we want our group to grow and offer more activities and opportunities to our seniors.

Volunteer opportunities available : Provide transportation to group members on Mondays (3:00PM from home to the hall) or (6:15pm back home from the hall)

Aerobics instructor (15 to 30 minutes on Mondays)

Donations: (snacks, coffee supplies, craft materials, money, etc.)

We need a grant writer who can help us rise money.
