ORGANIZATION: Living Well Disability Services

Join us in our home for people with disabilities in Maplewood, Mn as we assist our direct support professionals in learning how to prepare nutritious meals for the people we support. Many of our support staff have not had opportunities to learn the basics of meal preparation and would love to learn new ideas and new recipes for the people they care for. All ingredients and utensils will be provided.

Each day at Living Well Disability Services we partner with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to realize their goals and potential in communities throughout the Greater Twin Cities metro area. Founded in 1972, Living Well Disability Services serves nearly 300 people in their family or own homes and in our 33 residential settings. We are dedicated to supporting health in mind, body and spirit through our 'culture of wellness’. Volunteers play an integral part in the lives of people as they spend their time in meaningful and enjoyable ways at home and in our communities.
