rotating groups of these amazing little fuzzies in and out of designated play areas. As a volunteer, you can help design these daily enrichment areas by choosing from hundreds of toys and comfy sleep sacks and arranging them in the enclosed areas for the ferrets to play.
After the cleaning duties are over, volunteers usually
engage the ferrets in a play group! In addition to cleaning and playing with the ferrets, there are other more administrative tasks available in assisting our Director such as screening adoption applications, revising forms, filing, answering the phone and other duties.
Because of the training and tasks involved, we do ask for a minimum commitment of at least 2 hours per visit.
