D.C. LEARNs' mission is to strengthen Washington D.C. 's adult, family, and children's literacy services and present a strong, unified voice on the importance of literacy as an investment in our community. We provide free teacher training and technical assistance to Washington D.C. literacy programs, operate a bilingual literacy hotline, educate the public and policy makers on literacy issues facing the city, and pilot efforts to address gaps in literacy services.

We need volunteers to help us translate our "Read Out Loud" website from English to Spanish. This translation can be done from a remote location. We would like the work to be done in two weeks timeframe from the posting of this ad. If you think that you will be able to do the job please e-mail us at cwatts@dclearns.org and we will send you the links or the text that needs to be translated.
