Adirondack Council Activist Network
Organization |
Description
The Adirondack Council's Activist Network has helped us accomplish vital and lasting improvements in the state and federal policies that protect the Adirondack Park. Activists write letters or make phone calls to policy makers, attend public hearings, and meet with their own elected representatives - all to promote protections for the Adirondack Park.
Your letters, calls, and visits to legislators and your help spreading Adirondack Park information to policy makers, friends, and neighbors are what keep Adirondack issues in the forefront of current events and on the minds of the state's most powerful leaders. See the Adirondack Council website for past Action Alerts: http://www.adirondackcouncil.org/actionalertarchive.html

We know that personal letters sent by regular mail are the most effective, and appreciate people that are willing to make the effort on behalf of the Adirondack Park. We also welcome volunteer activists with strong verbal communication skills that are available to call policy makers or attend a public hearing on a specific issue.
