We are a non-profit organization in West Oakland, CA. We hold a youth drop-in resource center on Saturdays from 12-5pm at the KIPP College Prep Middle School and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help carry out our mission. Our program days focus on 4 subject areas science, language, art, and math...SLAM. Program days are fun and very fun and the kids/youth really enjoy coming. Did i mention FREE FOOD!
We are seeking your time committment one Saturday per month from 12-5.
What Now America is dedicated to working with inner-city youth to provide support in the areas of "Basic Societal Needs," on an ongoing basis.
