Description
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Developing a communications plan for development for the solicitation and partnership of New York City Schools.
* Conceptualize, write and produce pitch letter and materials in support of this plan. * Conceptualizing, developing, and producing multi-media tools (online and offline), such as e-communications, to support the strategies of retaining a school residency/partnership.
Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* College students to Intern or College degree required.
Non Students Require:
* Two plus years in non-profit fundraising, communications or marketing, or related communications or marketing experience required;
* Superior writing and communications skills;
* Ability to work on independently as well as collaboratively;
* Demonstrated experience writing and preparing pitch letters to solicit partnerships with New York City Schools.
* Experience producing dynamic presentation materials in a variety of formats;
* Personal interest in performing arts and empowering the lives of inner city youth.
* Computer proficiency with MS Office XP - especially Internet Explorer, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
* Familiarity with the performing arts.
