The Mixed Heritage Center Research Assistants assists the MAVIN Board of Directors in managing its flagship program: the Mixed Heritage Center, an online clearning house of information and resources relevant to the lives of people who are multiracial, multiethnic, transracially adopted, or otherwise impacted by the intersections of race and culture. Research Assistants will be charged with researching, posting, and updating the online Mixed Heritage Center E-Library, Mixed Arts, and other sections. They will also have the opportunity to connect with community members in Discussion Forums. Volunteers may also have an opportunity in the future to contribute to additional sections that are currently under development. The position requires an active committment to the mixed heritage community and the time to undergo a short orientation with the MHC coordinators.

Volunteers will gain experience in website management, will refine their research skills, and get connected with important organizers, academics, and community members in the multiracial community.
