The HandyWorks fall Rake, Rattle, and Roll takes place this year beginning very late October through early November with weather permitting. Here's what happens: after you let us know what date your group is available and how many people you have, we will match you with a few elderly people who live near each other, in south, southeast, or northeast Minneapolis. Then on your Rake, Rattle and Roll day, your group will help these seniors get ready for winter by raking and bagging leaves. Volunteers will need to provide their own rakes and the owner of the home should supply the recyclable bags, but I would request that your group brings extra bags for the occasional homeowner who is homebound and unable to get their own. If you have any questions, please call Molly at 612-276-1579 or email mchandler@gmcc.org
