  • 1 person is interested

Jazz Ballet Company (JBC) is a nonprofit, multi-cultural ballet company whose mission is to elevate community awareness of the benefit of dance as a uniting force amoung people of disparate age, income and ethnic background. Our goal is to make dance accessible and entertaining to the general public and we believe ballet should be inclusive and relate to issues in contemporary lives. The JBC Board of Directors is currently accepting applications of Board Director, a voting member of the Board. We are looking to fill 3 vacant Director positions. The Board Directors are expected to attend board meetings, sit on committees, execute fundraising and fiduciary responsibilities and provide general governance of JBC. The preferred candidates will have experience on a nonprofit Board of Directors and/or experience in a similar role. The JBC Board of Directors is currently looking to expand its membership and grow the organization. As such, we are looking for self-motivators who are detail-oriented and are able to set and reach goals for JBC. If interested in the Director positions, please contact Deidre Robinson at (512) 293-1507, jazzballetco@gmail.com
