Hello,
Florida International Teaching Zoo is a small private, non-profit endangered species breeding facility located in the sunny state of Florida. My name is Tom, i work with FITZ, and have so for 10 years.
We only recently became 501(c)3 non profit, but have been running for 15 years. We have yet to have any fundraising projects, running totally on income generated on-site.
Recently some of us at FITZ made a trip to Costa Rica to study the feasibility of a wildlife conservation project. Quickly realizing that there was an abundance of "normal" conservation projects throughout, we knew we had to come up with something different.
The Eastern Slope of Costa Rica is one of the most genetically diverse areas of this beautiful country, however the income level for families is dramatically less than it should be. You can go from the lavish in San Jose, to the poorest of poor on an afternoon bus ride.
Green Jungle - Kachabri; is committed to presenting a healthy capacity building opportunity to the people fo the Kachabri village thru untapped sustainable natural resources. Utilizing the world-marketplace, Project Green Jungle - Kachabri will assist and guide in the production, marketing, and logistics of this resource. Profits will be spent in the local community.

- Fundraising Director: We would like someone that thinks out of the box, currently our non-profit does not rely on any donations whatsoever to run, but we are looking to raise funds for projects which will pay for themsleves. Bilingual spanish and english a must Marketing Director: We are looking for someone who can guide us into a marketing campaign utilizing social sites, as well as other digital media which will keep us ahead of the competition. Spanish and english speaking a must.
