Be a companion to a patient receiving hospice care. Hospice Volunteers visit patients in their homes or in the nursing home, sit and talk with them, watch tv, or play board games. If you're a knit, bring your needles and yarn and sit bedside while you knit and share stories, Are you reading a good book? Bring it along and read it to the patient. There are so many things you can do to provide companionship. If you're up to it, send me a message!
