An integral part of P roject C.U.R.E.'s success is the completion of our Needs Assessment. The Needs Assessment distinguishes P roject C.U.R.E. from other humanitarian relief organizations as we meet the prospective partners, build relationships, set expectations and connect with officials as well as assessing medical needs. A trained Project C.U.R.E. Representative conducts an extensive "on-site" appraisal which is used to insure compatibly needs, establish accountability and build on-going relationships with health and government officials.

Needs Assessment Volunteer Team Members of the Needs Assessment Team will work in Project C.U.R.E.'s International Headquarters Office directly with the Needs Assessment Coordinator. Volunteer work will involve the following areas: Historical Heartbeat, Cargo Inquiries, Needs Assessment: Data Entry, Travel Folder, Reports, and Training. This is an International Headquarters Office volunteer support position; international travel is not to be expected as part of this volunteer work. Assistance is needed immediately and commitment level of time varies from 4 hours per week to 12+ hours per week. Skills needed included: computer (Word, Access, Excel Outlook, Microsoft programs, internet search, etc.), organizational (filing, task-oriented), adherence to protocol, ability to meet deadlines, maturity and confidentiality.
