Everyday, abused and neglected children in our community are removed from their homes because their parents cannot, or will not, take care of them. A Guardian ad Litem volunteer becomes the voice for these children. Guardians visit the children monthly, gather information and report what they feel is in the best interest of the children. There is always a critical need for volunteers. Every volunteer is specially trained to be a powerful advocate. They are ordinary people who do extraordinary things for some of our community's most vulnerable children. No special background or legal experience is needed, just a love for children and a little time.
