Volunteering Abroad in South Africa: Has been called the adventure capital of the world, with its natural beauty and wildlife that leaves visitors awe-struck. The rich culture, the freedom struggle and the friendly people make this a fascinating nation to explore. With the sounds of the African drum beat; the bright sun, stars and city streets; the natural beauty of the landscape, South Africa is an inviting location and safe for volunteering projects.
South Africa is an invigorating and multifaceted country. With its post-apartheid struggle still evident, there is a sense of energy and progress in the air. The infrastructure is continuously improving, the weather is pleasant and the wildlife opportunities leave visitors awe-struck. But if you want to understand South Africa, you'll have to deal with the full spectrum; poverty and the AIDS orphan pandemic.
Our programs provide the opportunity to participate in the social and academic development of children and young people. By living and working among the people you'll be able to appreciate the complexity of the nation's past and present, and help to give the younger generation the tools they need for the future.
Work in an orphanage or community children's center. Get involved with the motivation and development of young people's lives and ultimately help to bridge gaps and influence change in the 'New South Africa".
Our programs allow you to take part in meaningful community service work, while discovering the people, sights, smells and tastes of South Africa.
This is a great opportunity to make life-long friends, learn a new culture from the inside out and discover that one person really can make a difference.

Welcome to A Broader View! We offer volunteer projects for the globally-minded individual searching for a unique travel experience. We are a US based non-profit organization (501 c 3 tax deductible) offering short term volunteer placements working with international social projects in 32 Countries and over 345 programs. Our programs are in areas of teaching, orphanage assistance, community development programs, conservation, healthcare projects and many more.
