23 prize-winning young musicians arrive in California from over 17 countries for the 20th annual iPalpiti Festival of International Laureates. Various concerts will be presented during the two weeks of the festival at venues including the Encinitas Library, Soka Performing Arts Center, UCLA, LACMA, Greystone Mansion and at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Volunteers needed:
Driving - arrivals/departure (SAN/LAX)
Serving lunches/clean-up
Set-up and Ushering at concerts/selling CDs & T-shirts
*volunteers will get complimentary tickets to Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 23 (if they are not working this event)

Description
Non-profit organization for artistic promotion and career advancement of exceptionally gifted young professional classical musicians. Production of annual music festival last two weeks of July. This summer, 11th annual Festival brings together 27 prize-winning musicians will arrive to LA from 22 countries. A week of concerts culminutes with a grand finale at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
During the year, Benefactors Concert Series are presented in private salons.
iPalpiti orchestra, a flagship ensemble of the organization, has been performing to acclaim in major halls throughout the world, including Carnegie Hall debut in 2007.
Mentor Program and Student Coalition for the Arts with local schools, youth.
