Retail Volunteer

Do you have retail experience? Have you ever used a cash register? Would you like to donate your time to a good cause? If the answer to any of those questions is yes, we have volunteer opportunities for you.

Hospice of the Chesapeake is a fully licensed, community-based non-profit organization. We provide services to terminally ill patients at the place that they call home - regardless of their age or ability to pay. In order to provide the best possible service to our patients and their families, Hospice of the Chesapeake depends on the generous support from the community, key business partners, and philanthropic operations to improve the quality of life for those in our community experiencing advanced illness or bereavement.

What is Treasures?

Treasures , Hospice of the Chesapeake’s upscale resale and consignment shop, is staffed by volunteers who are committed to HoC and its mission and features a wonderful variety of upscale clothing, furniture, jewelry, household items, and books. A great majority of these donations come from loved ones of those we have served or from our surrounding community. All proceeds from Treasures benefit Hospice of the Chesapeake and those who we serve.
