Tutors meet one-on-one with a homeless child for one hour per week to tutor them in various subjects to close any academic gaps. Most tutoring takes place in homeless shelters or public libraries. • Love Kids: Tutors must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma, attend a two hour orientation, a two hour training session, and agree to a background check (to ensure the safety of our children). And most importantly, you have to love kids!
