Cleveland Clinic's Mammography Department has a need for volunteer assistance on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In this busy out-patient department, volunteers escort patients from the waiting area to the changing and examination areas. Additionally, volunteers stock the changing area with gowns, and examination rooms with supplies.

• Volunteers must posses excellent communication and interpersonal skills; have a pleasant demeanor; be comfortable in a hospital setting; be sensitive to patient's needs; and stand for extended periods of time. We require a minimum of a six month commitment - one four-hour shift per week - of the volunteer. Attendance at an orientation and additional departmental training is mandatory.
