Description
For those people who love to play with animals and want to give back to the community the Oakland Pet Adoption Center is the place for you.
Duties for volunteers include:
- Walking dogs in our dog park and spacious grounds
- Socializing animals ex. training dogs and cats in desired behaviors
- Assisting potential adopters find their perfect pet
- Playing with kittens and puppies
We are always in need of volunteers and accept young and old. For those under 18 you must have a parent or gaurdian on site with you at all times.
Skills
The only skill we require is that you love animals and have a desire to learn!
