Give one lunch time a week to deliver meals to homebound residents near your neighborhood or office.
Drivers pick up meals from local sites and deliver to elderly clients who are unable to prepare meals. Delivery typically takes one hour after meal pick up. Weekly volunteers select one weekday to drive, while substitute volunteers drive when a need arises. Drivers provide their own transportation and show compassion and caring to the people in the community.

Description
Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County provides hot, nourishing meals to elderly and disabled persons who are unable to provide meals for themselves. The meals, plus daily contact by caring volunteers and professional case management allow frail, homebound persons to remain in their own homes...where they want to be.
