ORGANIZATION: Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, Inc.

JA of the Bluegrass and the FCPS will be working together in the 2008-2009 school year to provide a new JA program to all 7th grade students in the Fayette County Schools.

This new program will place business Volunteers in every 7th grade classroom for a series of six-45 minute lessons on financial literacy. Topics to be taught in the lessons will include budgeting, savings, banking services, investments, work habits, ethics in the workplace, as well as team and communication skills.
