The STAR Transportation Program is looking for individuals interested in helping senior citizens get to their medical appointments. Eligible clients must live in St. Charles County and be ambulatory. Volunteers pick clients up at their home, drive them to their medical appointment, wait while the client is with the Doctor, and then drive the client home. Volunteers are offered mileage reimbursement and secondary insurance as well as educational and training opportunities. Hours are flexible based on each individual volunteers availability.
