ORGANIZATION: SourcePoint: Thrive after 55

Our amazing volunteers fill 800 trays a day with delicious scratch-cooked meals that are sent out for home delivery to local seniors. This team-based activity is fast, fun, and rewarding. The tasks involve standing and repetitive arm movements.

Volunteers enjoy a free lunch, the comradery of other volunteers and staff, and the good feeling of relieving senior food insecurity - without having to deliver meals.

It is typical for a volunteer to commit to a shift on the same day each week, however, substituting for regular volunteers is an option for those wanting a more flexible schedule without the weekly commitment.

SourcePoint is your primary source of professional expertise, services, and programs for Delaware County adults who want to thrive after 55. We can point you in the right direction by providing direct assistance as well as referrals.

We provide community support with in-home care services such as Meals On Wheels, help with chores, and transportation to medical appointments, as well as resources and support for family caregivers.

We are also your source for both fun and fitness -- our 44,000-square-foot enrichment center hosts a wide variety of programs and trips.
