Wildlife Aides work closely with our professional Animal Keepers to maintain healthy and safe living conditions for our resident animals who are unable to survive in the wild.

  • Wildlife Aides primarily assist by cleaning wildlife enclosures and preparing food for the non-releasable animals in our care
  • May also become involved with creating animal enrichment
  • Great way to learn more about our native wildlife and ecology.
  • Excellent opportunity for those interested in an animal centered career to gain experience.

Strict Time Commitment: 9:00am to 1:00pm on Thursdays, on a weekly basis, for at least 6 months (longer strongly preferred). Schedule is not flexible.

We seldom have weekend Wildlife Aide positions available. To apply for this volunteer position, go to the Get Involved section of our website at www(dot)CuriOdyssey(dot)org and complete the online volunteer application by June 25. Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. Top applicants will be invited to interview.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 and able to make a weekly commitment. We are looking for a dependable, hard worker with good communication skills, who is sincerely interested in this kind of volunteer experience. Animal care experience a plus.
