Volunteers with excellent customer service skills are sought to set up and assist at our information booth at either of the farmers' markets in the City of Santa Monica.
Duties include assisting Food Stamp recipients with their electronic balance transfer cards, providing general overall assistance to market manager and answering public inquiries. Occasional event assistance.
Once trained, volunteers can sign up for a desired shift at either the Wednesday 3rd Street Promenade market, Saturday Pico market or Sunday Main Street market. Shifts are 2-3 hours and candidates must be able to commit to six hours a month, for at least six months. Flexible days and hours.
Adult volunteers are sought for this position.
