3ethlehem Mickey Mantle, Inc - BRAVES Travel Baseball Club, is a community based, amatuer sports (ages 13-23 yrs) baseball program that operates outdoors from April through the end of October. Our home field is Town Park Field # 5 - the Mickey Mantle Field - in the Bethlehem Elm Ave. Town Park on Route # 32 in Delmar, NY. www.BravesTravelBaseballClub.com
There is a lot to do to keep our volunteer organization going. While it is centered around the game of baseball, volunteers are needed for field preparation and maintenance, equipment organization, assisting with coaching and practices, game day activities, working with other town park youth activities as a mentor, umpiring scrimmages, basic first aid, and just about whatever specialty you could offer.
During the off-season November to April, we need help with our Winter Training, Fund Raising, Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, Tournament Preparation, Community Outreach, Fitness / Training Program, and continued League details. Our players go indoors to participate in our Winter Workouts program and additional baseball skills training held at area indoor training facilities.

We are also a community based, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization and are able to provide the necessary Community Service Hours required for high school students to graduate.

Mission Statement
Bethlehem Mickey Mantle, Inc - the BRAVES Travel Baseball Club sets out to instill a passion for the game of baseball within each of our players so that their efforts will earn for them a skill level and knowledge of the game unsurpassed by any other local program. We believe that athletes must be student's first as well as good citizens and members of their communities. To accomplish this we monitor our players demanding schedule through out the season and stay in constant communication with all involved so that our players perform on the field, in school and at home.
Our not-for-profit, 501(c)3 corporation Bethlehem Mickey Mantle, Inc. supports the mission statement of the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC): "The AABC strives to enlarge and advance the scope of amateur baseball by stimulating interest and competition and to provide a sound, experienced organization to assist and educate local groups in obtaining the maximum health and citizenship values."

Bethlehem Mickey Mantle, Inc. - the BRAVES Travel Baseball Club play their home games on Field # 5 - the Mickey Mantle Field in the Bethlehem Elm Ave. Town Park at 261 Elm Ave, Delmar NY 12054.
The BRAVES have have Travel Teams for ages 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U, 23U.
The BRAVES Teams begin training each year in January, inside the Gym with our Winter Workouts & Conditioning. By mid-April, we are outside on our field to begin our pre-season training. Our regular Summer Baseball Season starts around Memorial Day with the goal of making it into the post season Tournaments in July.
Our teams then take a few weeks off for the rest of the Summer and come back in September to begin our Fall Ball on weekends in September and October. A special session of Batting & Hitting Training is then scheduled for early Winter.
The BRAVES Baseball Program is Year-Round.
