AWT seeks a responsible and professional individual to perform the following:
Manage the organization's program of activities for the entire calendar year. Arrange for facilities for AWT meetings, programs and other activities. Form a committee as required assisting in program functions. Contact and schedule speakers. Coordinate and manage responsibilities involved for the day of each event meeting or workshop (i.e. registration, volunteers, etc.). The Association for Women in Technology is a non-profit organization dedicated to empower women in all fields of technology. AWT facilitates networking and career development through informal and professional events. AWT also supports a Charitable Foundation to provide scholarships for women in Southern California.
Description
Based in Orange County, and also serving women of Greater Los Angeles and San Diego, AWT holds events every other month which include, four quarterly technology forums and two fundraising events per year, attracting women in every area of technology, from those just entering the field, to senior management and technology innovators. Women and men are welcome to attend events as a non-member, with event costs ranging from $15 - $55. Event meetings are held in different locations in and around Southern California, please check our calendar page for details.
