Many volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis to assist in NAM's Resale Shop and Donation Center, located in Northwest Houston.
Volunteers will sort donated items and assist in tasks that will get the merchandise to the salesfloor.
Approved volunteers may work flexible hours, Monday - Saturday, or follow a shift 10:00am -5:00pm.
To volunteer independently at NAM, volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Students between the ages of 10-15 must have parental supervision.
All potential volunteers (except those seeking court ordered community service hours), must first attend a NAM Volunteer Orientation, fill out an application and pass a simple background check.
Volunteer Orientation is not required for court ordered community service. Instead, contact NAM's Resale Shop at 281-880-9000 for more information. You must be at least 18 years of age.

Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is a non-profit, community-based, multi-program social service agency established in 1983. NAM provides assistance in areas including food, shelter, health, education, safety and financial education. Guided by a small staff, more than 2,800 volunteers work together to provide a variety of basic services to our neighbors in need in Northwest Harris County and throughout the greater Houston area.
